Right.. in english again.
After reading the comments for the last post I made (thanks people), i've decided to write in english again. I hope that's alright with everyone I'm actually not that fond of writing the same story twice. And I personnally think it's fun and important to practise speaking different languages.
That's really one of the mean things hear. Speaking english and french. In the entertainment division at disneyland paris there are basicly two groups. The french, and the english speaking. The french hardly know any word english, and the other people (usualy english, italian, or dutch now) have a hard time communicating. The english don't care and most of them don't want or just seem to not be able to learn french. The italian and dutch however try, and most french seem to be happy with that. But offcourse there are always a few french people who will ignore you or tell you of if you make the slightest mistake.
I've once tried to call a nearby hospital to ask if my friend was alright. Alas.. it only lasted 2 minutes. I've even been shouted at when calling someone from costuming to ask if they could come to the head counter and give me my character head for that day. Apparantly it took too much time.
But altough i've been discouraged an awfull lot, I do seem to pick up some more french. One of the mean reasons i'm here ofcourse.
So just to let you know what i've been upto lately.. I've had some repetitions for some "dance" routines in the parades. So for those who come and visit me can look forward to that. I get to be one of the green army marching down the street from the beloved film "Toy Story" and can be a funny card guards (either ace of clubs, spades, diamonds or hearts) marching down antoher road from the movie "Alice in wonderland".
But in only two weeks, i'll be doing something much cooler. I get to be be one of the lucky few who'll be able to do one of the skyrunning parts in the parade. I've been on a quite rigorous training for the past week and will continue for another two, and in the end will be doing either one of the voulchers from "Jungle Book" or Tigger.
Skyrunners are basicly bouncing stilts. Kinda like this:
And i've been playing acoustic guitar for a week now. I'll try and show some progressions soon. I need to go now. I want to watch the new Halloween show in Disneyland.

Most should speak for themselves. The one with Pluto on it is with most of my dutch friends and Celine! here. and the on with all the english people was at yet another (birthday) party. then offcourse my little sister with Goofy, getting more attention then anyone else.
